Final Passenger Carrying Flight - Dakota G-AMPY
On July 15th 2008 the final passenger carrying flight by the renown Dakota took place at Coventry Airport, courtesy of Air Atlantique, the largest fleet operator of the Dakota.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster B1, PA474 , one of the two remaining airworthy Lancasters in the world, went into the Air Atlantique workshops at Coventry Airport for a full overhaul in the winter of 2006/7.

The demolition of the AP factory in Leamington Spa c 2005. Constructed originally in 1931 by 1970 it covered over 70 acres. The company became the UK's leading manufacturer and supplier of clutches and braking, and was dominant in the market until the end of the 1970s.
